NFL Discussion Thread

looks like I'm only going to two Broncos game this year. Indy and Chicago. Thinking about getting Colts season tickets.. Just need to see how expensive they'll be

I wish I was able to just decide if I want to buy Packer season tickets. The average wait time for a season ticket holding spot is 30 years.

30 years

They could build another Lambeau, and sell it out every game

love the players and picks.

but i would consider reorganizing this because the look is not very good. the only reason i say is that i wish the presentation of it to match the effort i know that you put into it.

hologram stadiums? im down.

Hardy is still suspended 10 games? Does this not make sense in comparison to other recent off field incidents or is it just me? I haven't kept up on that whole controversy, but I thought there wasn't any evidence to the claims that lady was making.

"The NFL's investigation concluded that Hardy violated the Personal Conduct Policy by using physical force against Nicole Holder in at least four instances,"

because being cleared in a court of law just isn't enough. i have no idea how the NFL can see themselves as disciplining above the legal system.

even as an eagles fan i think the whole thing is ridiculous.

enfyte don't make the jets do that trade

:(

I liked my presentation of it. Usually I just go boring with my spreadsheets and keep them plain.

And I am sorry Moosey, I know you don't want to give the extra picks but tbh i saved you guys a bit in the trade. only giving up the extra second to move up 3 spots into the top 3 is a steal to grab Mariota.

i did read your mock though on the nfl reddit. i go on that shit everyday and even started my first discussion ever (it was the todd gurley one)

the trade you actually have the jets doing isn't bad at all. if the jets believe mariota is a franchise QB and all they have to do is give up a 2nd round pick (which is basically the same thing they did to acquire sanchez) i can't complain

i'm just really holding out hope with cooper man

Holy shit. Never even knew that.. fuck that shit. I'm not a huge colts fan, just an Andrew Luck fan. Being in Colorado and seeing all the Broncos fans just blew me away. I felt like it was my home

nah dude, virtual reality stadiums

nah too many possible angles for them to recreate, id rather see a stadium lit up with holograms. the technology is already pretty there. imagine if they were able to go back and recreate games from history. you'd literally be able to go to stadiums of the replaying of super bowls.
we finally made it guys

Finally, draft day :) It's awesome seeing all the dreams being accomplished. Hopefully my Falcons trade up with the Raiders and we snag Flower.. If not, hopefully we get Bud Dupree outta Kentucky.

Also, I would love to trade the Seahawks a 3rd round pick for Bruce Irivin

hoping for byron jones or shaq thompson  tonight for the eagles. also hoping that we can snag an additional 2nd rounder tomorrow for one of our players/picks and pick up agholor or another receiver in the mid 2nd. possibly an o-lineman with our 2nd. would love to see 3 picks in the 20-60 range.

oh yea and *obligatory mariota joke*

agholor won't make it to the second round. he's been my 4th ranked wide out for most of the process
Since when? I have only seen that develop this past month.

i just love how polished he is, i've had him 4th for a while. his footwork is great in my eyes and he ran great routes, always finding a way to get open

who would i put ahead of him? perriman? never that man, never that

i'm already super nervous

lol, you know i love that shit
The Rams used their first round pick on... a RB. Never change, Jeff Fisher.
Did Tre Mason get traded or something?
welp guess he didnt make it out of the first lol.

How about this scout's quote on Williams from the Nawrocki guide? "He is Reggie White. He can play anything and dominate." #nyj

love that

the one team i didnt want getting jones. goddam it.
enfyte come back so we can both talk about how deadly this defensive line is going to be
I think Josh Robinson is going to be a steal whoever picks him up. I think he could have a really good career.
I hate my life.
DGB, next Josh Gordon? I really hope he doesn't ruin his career, he's a beast.
u ok

Hold me

it's ok man, i'll help you get through this. although cam is going to be on his back every other play because you guys are really sticking with michael oher, atleast you'll be able to throw to a bunch of basketball player WRs

so far i've loved the jets draft and it feels weird to say that for once. leonard williams was BY FAR the BPA at 6 and he has all-pro potential. devin smith fits in PERFECTLY with the jets offense and he isn't just a speed guy as i think he really has great hands. if he refines his route tree, he could end up being the 3rd best wide out from this class. also, the lorenzo mauldin pick has really grown on me. guy has an amazing story living in 16 different foster homes and is extremely versatile with a quick first step. he should be able to dominate behind this defensive line

man i'm so excited

Dude I am not upset that we haven't taken a OT. Devin Funchess is just my least favorite player in the draft. The fact that we gave up a 3rd and a 6th to move up like 15 spots is disgusting.

if it makes you feel better, we both hated kelvin benjamin last season and it ended up alright even though he lead the league in drops

i also don't know why you aren't upset about not drafting an OT. you guys are straight rolling with jonathan martin and michael oher

Well, Daryl Williams will be our right tackle so we sort of addressed it. I'm a little worried but I think we will be okay.

I liked the packers draft

addressed the needs. Really like the ty montgomery pick. the brett hudley one was interesting, but thats an old ron wolf strategy.

i wish they would have gotten a higher skilled lb, but they were all taken before it came to their pick

Well that makes one person who likes the Ty Montgomery pick.
Man what a harsh penalty for Tom Brady... Heard he has to play a full season for the Jets.
