this is pretty dumb

i know how everyone thinks this is good and it will limit drunk driving but think of the effects that drinkin will have on kids IN HIGH SCHOOL!!!

i dont want a senior in high school goin to buy alcohol
i know i come off strong but guess what, ive been on both sides here, in fact, i got busted for drinkin 3 times my first year of college and there is no mercy in fairfax county where i live

but for society, this would be terrible to lower the drinkin age and suspending a license for ten years would never last in this country, people would protest it b/c everyone makes dumb decisions when theyre drunk

Good point, but not very well written and a bit self-contradictory towards the end.

Though moderation may seem like the fair way to go, in persuasive essays you have either avoid these counter-points or do a better job of completely nullifying them with an argument.

That's true, but then a stronger counter argument could be brought to light: alcoholism is MUCH more prevalent in these nations than the states.

But in response to your essay, you really need to re-write some parts, it's way too wordy.

I completely agree with your opinion that "if you can die for your country, why can't you have a drink?" COMPLETELY agree.

The legal age for consumption should be less than the legal age to obtain a driver's liscense. It is absurd to allow people to drive before they know how even one alcoholic beverage will affect them.

Alcohol isn't a substance I'd recommend for consumption by anyone, even in small amounts, but I fully support your right to drink yourself to sleep.

thats stupid, honestly

this is why they give a ton of education about alcohol and driving before u start driving

unless u dont wanna drive until ur 22, i wouldnt change the laws
