Since you posted (Crest) --- I have been wondering for a long while if it would be feasible to send you(Or Bjorn or whoever has all the relevant files) an external or two, fill it up with the collection and then post it back or something like that. Keep one for myself to seed with and maybe start a mailing list for the other.

I just meant to re-distribute the collection. Right now only a few people probably have the full thing and if those are lost, then it will be harder to bring it together in the future. I have the HD space and the bandwidth available to have another copy online if people want it. I think the THF team wanted to make part of the site a directory or catalog for those videos, and that's outside of my scope.

Thanks. I'm honestly applying to stuff for my father's sake, I'm trying to put my time into my channel since it's doing well. But if I got this job I would be making... 3x what I made at my old job and like... 50x what YT makes me and I could live pretty comfortably on my own. Whatever job I get, I hope to save it and build up a cushion if I ever switch back to YT.

My brother in law got his today. I got to fuck around with it while stoned. It's definitely a clean piece of hardware. i don't know much about it but he got the version that costs around $900.
That's what I thought I remembered you talking about. Hope it goes well for you. Elevated cs pressures are no fun. I ran across a dude in his mid 30s who has a vp shunt. It got clogged with fibrin/wbc clumps and he had to have a temporary open (external) drain. Cool guy.
I was recently diagnosed with syringomyelia that they found on an MRI (not a big fan of this particular test) Going tomorrow for repeat, may need a thoracic shunt myself. Hopefully not. MRis suck.

This is basically the whole layout. I have a VP Shunt and mine is on the right hemisphere of my brain to be specific.
I'll be fine, I just have to bare with the head pain until I can get to chicago which will probably be Thursday which isn't that bad. An external drain does not sound fun.
So did they find the syringomyelia on an old mri or something? Or where you having some symptoms that lead to you getting an mri and that's what they found? I did some googling and I couldn't really find details on the a thoracic shunt in layman's terms. I don't know if you'll need this advice or not, but, just so you know if you end up getting a reprogrammable shunt of any kind make sure they don't offer you a free reprogramming kit following the surgery through insurance or otherwise. I supposedly could have gotten a kit for free that would have allowed me to reset my shunt at home, but now costs around 1400 and isn't covered by insurance so I need to make an appointment and drive 2 hours to get myself on the right setting. If the doctor had told me, I could have gotten the kit. Hopefully that won't be the case for you, but just so you know.

Thanks. Not to spew out my boring medical issues in CoT but yes they found it by "accident" when looking for other things. I've been dizzy and sometimes my legs don't work so well, rapid deterioration. Been having this "fisheye lens" effect - it's like I'm viewing the world through a camera lens all the time. Also, this sounds strange and I don't know how to describe it but my feet don't feel like they are touching the ground most of the time. Neurosurgeon says I was born with it but never diagnosed since I never had an MRI before. SM is very rare. No surgeon can fix it within 200 miles of me. I have to goto Orlando or Jacksonville. He says I need this surgery if the syrinx expands, which is what I find out tomorrow. It's done by two surgeons and takes 12-16 hours. So, lots of fun. (gross medical video - not for the squeamish) H
