Suggestion: "Return to top" button for mobile. Maybe it could scroll with the page? That might look bad, just an idea I had.
For some reason i can't login on the homepage only when i go to forum then i can log inI had this same problem. My browser logged me out and I couldn't log back in from the homepage. I was reading this thread as a guest and then tried signing in and then it worked.
Just wanted to mention that there are some intermittent periods where I am pushing updates to the site that may cause issues, especially with form submissions. I do apologize for that but thankfully the interruptions are only momentary.

I was checking out a video by .Thizz and tried to go to his profile page:

First I had to log in to see it, then it says:
Access Denied, You are not authorized to access this page.
Either .Thizz is a NSA agent or Id guess the period is fucking something up
edit: works on PC, not on mobile
I've also noticed sometimes links dont show up when you post 2 in a row, happened two seperate times now. First one shows up, second one is like its not even there. After fucking with it and editing>save a couple of times its ok
when editing a post it pops to the top of the page, not to the post you edited
feel like changing "your" to "a" in the submit your video call out would help people understand its not just their own vids they can put up

some people have shown interest in it before, + if we make the shirts subtle and stylish it could be alright. Like the shirts for the CE4CF tourney were pretty nice, or at least the concept was, it was tricky to make it happen I heard cuz the shirt site went down, dunno how that ended up. Perhaps we'll do a poll to see how much interest there is if this becomes more of an option.

Related idea: license this forum platform; seriously, as you work out the kinks, it's gonna be dope. Offer it on an annual subscription (or, if you like, have paid upgrades at each major version release), with an early-access discount to fund development and hosting. Once it gets to the point where there's a stable API, a community will naturally develop around it like they do with any forum software. I for one would love to tool around with making a Meteor client at some point in the far-future.
As for validating demand for merch, best way is to just throw up a landing page or even start taking pre-orders.
just a suggestion, imo the huge donation module on the sidebar is an eyesore. maybe move the bar to the top in between the donate button and the light/dark switch. if you go to www.speedrunslive.com it's a pretty good example.
I don't know if I'm the only one but I'm really not feeling the cyan on the site. There's gotta be a better color that goes with the navy blue.
But so far I'm really, really, really liking this site. It makes me want to write some articles and get this site going again. Can't wait to see what we can do before H5 comes out.
Okay, two things now... I just posted in here about 5 minutes ago and it seems that it never actually populated. Possible an error on my side, but I believe I did everything kosher.
Now my original reason for posting here. I donated via my mobile device and afterwords I realized I wasn't logged in. I personally don't care whether I'm on a silly list or not, but it would be nice if it suggested you to log in before making a donation, to prevent situations like the one I'm in. (:
EDIT: I see that in the email it says I will remain anonymous if not logged in. I dig that, so I'm not suggesting forcing you to log in, unless you could just select to donate anonymously, but I like that you don't need to be a member to do so as well.

that's a problem we're aware of yes, Nv1 is on a business trip, dev will continue after the weekend.

This could be an issue with embeding imgur images, because imgur is one of the services supported by the automatic embeds (meaning you don't have to embed, just add the link).
What are pinned threads? Stickied?
Yeah that's correct. The reason they aren't pinned to the top on the home forum page is because the home forum page just shows threads sorted by latest post, just like "Today's Posts" did on the old site. If you go into a forum, like Halo Discussion, you'll notice the pinned threads are always at the top.
