I think they just want to avoid splitting the playerbase, but what does it matter anymore? People will play what they want to play. If they make individual playlists sections for each game, and Halo 4 ends up with 7 people searching at peak hours, maybe they should take that as a sign...

Because those are their main points to fix and they don't have patch notes out yet?
eg. Team A is currently working on and testing netcode for party creation, Team B is working on matchmaking algorithms to ensure faster match creation, Team C is working on shot registration for *insert game here*, etc.
as well as their current expected delivery dates on these fixes. If they find they won't hit those deadlines, update us on that. It's really not asking for much.

I do not want cross game
Because that would be a complete waste and a mess of playlists. You really think this game would be better functioning with like 50+ playlists? It spreads out the player base and makes playlists extremely thin.

H1, H2 is unplayable on my connection H4 is boring. Only game i play is H3..
And i am forced to play all 4 games that is pretty lame i guess I got to go back to the xb360 again.

If you look at all the patch notes, the deliberately use vague language, for example "improves" versus "fixes". That just tells me that either everything they have released so far is just partial improvements, or they literally have no confidence in their own patches.

The main updates are always posted to waypoint and he just links to them. He uses Twitter as an additional resource for bug reporting and other feedback. As for any interaction, he gives a bunch of non-answers and parrots "more info in the next update".
