Default Huffyuv and Windows 7 x64?

I just got a new laptop so I'm trying to move my footage over here so I can edit and render videos faster but the problem is that I can't get the videos working. I've installed the x64 version of huffyuv.dll but it's not showing up in any codec menus. Any idea what's up or if anyone else has this problem?

You're using the Windows 7 Beta, correct? You're on you own, buddy. >.>

Helpful post is helpful. lol

Actually, I'm running Windows 7 (albeit the 32 bit version). Make sure to download the zip file.

I didn't have any problems with it. Make sure you are installing it by right clicking the huffyuv file and selecting install.

After that, be sure to restart your computer. I don't know why, but sometimes programs don't pick up the new codecs right away.

I tried your way NorthSpartan but no luck. Thanks though.

@wannabeapilot Damn, I was hoping that wasn't the gonna be the solution. They haven't updated that codec in ages so I'm not very confident that they'll do it for Windows 7.

Ah, I've found a partial solution for anyone using Win7 x64! It won't allow capturing in Huffyuv but you can now watch/edit those videos in whatever program.

Install these codecs: http://shark007.net/win7codecs.html

and install this settings application: http://shark007.net/x64components.html
