I really think you guys should make a Youtube channel showing past montages and current but at the same time I don't want you guys channel to become like FBWalshyFTW where the editor doesn't get the amount of viewers he deserves but it can also make someone who really isn't known, to get some publicity. I feel like FBWalshyFTW post videos for the editor but really doesn't give the editor any credit because he doesn't give the link to the editor's channel or tell people to subscribe/befriend the editor. I also think you guys might get more people active in the forums if they know about the channel because there are some people who watch Halo Reach/3/2 montages but really don't know that TheHaloForums exist or don't care to check the website out even though they're advertised in even the best montages. Plus you guys could announce have sessions like "Montage of the Month or Year", "New Editor of the Month or Year", Idk stuff like that. I also feel like some of the videos that are old in TheHaloForums don't ever see the day of light because they're soo many pages in each Video section and if someone comments on an old thread/video people are going to flame him because he bumped it. I don't know, it was just an idea but I don't know if it'll serve a good purpose cause maybe it'll bring more people to the forums and maybe they'll be more editors in our community. But I want editors to get the credit they deserve because a lot videos get over 10,000 views on a channel like airguitar or FBWalshyFTW but if you look at the original video from the editor, it'll be 5x less views. Just tell me what you think.

Whoa man, giant wall of text.
First off, a lot of the Youtube videos that are hosted here have been getting uploaded by RVideo as an official spot. But it should change. As well, some of the members that have been producing the most videos lately (Viral Design, mostly) may want exclusive video uploading privileges. Same with Dutchy, since his videos get so many god damn views. It would just split the views. It would be ideal, but it's damn hard to actually follow through with successfully. I'd like an official uploading channel that is controlled by more people than just RVideo anyways. |

I thought THF had one, but it was just inactive with nobody using it. Anyways, it should be brought back to with fairly constant uploads (With Permission). The Halo Community needs to become relevant again, not that it isn't now, but ever since Reach's Release stuff hasn't been happening as much. Why not get more involved? Hell, I'll volunteer to help run the channel...

I know Gear61 has a thing where he'll usually post your channel in the description if you ask. I think the only thing he asks in return is that he uploads the video first, whether it be by 5 hours or even 5 minutes. I do agree that editors / montage kid's channels should get more publicity then they do though, and if this is something that you and a few other people have their hearts set on I'd be more then glad to help contribute videos/support

I've received a lot of thank yous from montage editors for doing this for them, since nobody else seems to have the time or energy to be bothered (although there are a lot of people who want someone else to actually do anything to make the video offerings more robust). With this, I don't feel like releasing a montage until this is in order.
IF someone could upload all those videos in the Frag Video Archive into a channel like this that would be nuts. And anything that gets to the H1CE/HPC/H2x/H2v/H3/Reach/Anniversary video "section's" to be put on this channel, no matter if it's a huge project or not. Basically a channel to search all of the montages from the past would be HUGE. Just being able to stream everything would be huge, I personally don't have the greatest connection so I stream everything. just sayin. |

![]() Someone try and get this guy's channel, I'd be more than happy to upload stuff and work with people. I've let down so many rerelease projects because I'm promised one thing from some people and they just go 'fuck it'. |
