Forum reputation has been installed on this forum. The goal of this system is to reward users for good posting, and distinguish users who are bad posters. To + or - rep a post, go to the bottom left of a post and click on this bottom:



You can then choose to approve or disprove the post, and fill out an anonymous message (or you can leave it blank) that only the user you are repping will be able to see. Approving a post adds to a user's reputation, and disproving a post takes away from a user's reputation. How much you add or take away from a user primarily depends on how much rep you have. Join date and post count also have a small impact on the amount of rep you add/subtract from other users. The amount of rep you own is displayed by the amount of green boxes or red boxes you have. Every dark green box is worth 100 points, and every light green box is worth 200 points. Same with dark red and light red boxes, except for negative values.

Each reputation level has a different title, which you can see by hovering over one's reputation bar.

When repping a user, you have the option to leave a message that only the user you are repping will be able to see in their profile. You can choose to sign the message with your name if you would like. However, you cannot sign your rep message as a user that you are not. This is one thing that will result in a ban.

You can view your reputation history and the comments people left you in your profile.

A couple of other rules:

1. No asking for + or - rep on the forum.

2. You can only rep 5 posts per day, and can only rep the same post once.

3. You must rep 5 other users before repping the same person again.

4. For every 100 points of rep you earn, you gain a point of "rep changing" power.

5. You must have above 0 reputation points to change someone's rep, and at least 50 total posts on this forum.

This is the first time in a long time this forum has had a reputation system, so there might be aspects I overlooked. I'll update the rep system if necessary.

I also removed the 10 character limit on this forum for posting.

IF YOU CAN'T SEE THE REPUTATION BUTTON, YOU MAY HAVE TO USE ONE OF THE NEWER SKINS THAT THIS SITE OFFERS. THE OLDER ONES MAY NOT DISPLAY IT.

Oh, and I'm giving all users +30 rep for posting in this thread just to kick start the economy
