The game will include special packages and abilities: fighting, safety and support.
The system is similar to the perks Call of Duty.

During the entrance to the card players get a job: to kill the head, jump 10 times, and so.
On the map you can find different weapons: Bazooka example, which replaces the pistol slot.

So they made halo 3 worse? Impressive. Looks cool though, I guess?

F2P you say? Great news for Russia! That leaves more money for purchasing Krocodil.

I think everything about this is odd. That Turf remake looked interesting, though. Still odd.

I saw a flamethrower. Count me in. This is dopeee. Good find.
I saw iron sights on the AR...
So instead of teabagging we get slav squatting?
So, here is what I know so far about Halo Online. This game was worked from the ground up to be played on PC and it runs off a modified Halo 3 engine and is meant to be played on lower end computers (probably what a lot of people in Russia use). It is going to be a free to play game and will be BETA tested in Russia this spring. This is most likely getting released in Russia because free to play games have been doing well over there, probably due to game piracy being very high in Russia. How do you make money off F2P games? Well, most of them have microtransactions. In the trailer for Halo Online you saw that there were tons of customization options, now, you will probably have to play the game to unlock all those option, OR you could shell out a few bucks and get it straight away. That's how F2P games make their money, that's why this game would work well in Russia, but that is just speculation. The game is being worked on by Saber Interactive and Innova Systems (partners with 343) so it sounds like 343 has very little to do with the actual release of the game. Halo Online looks to have the same business model as COD Online (which you probably haven't heard of) and Borderlands Online (which you also probably haven't heard of) both of those games are exclusive to China. As a Halo community I highly doubt we will care about this game. People may be up and arms right now about it being a Russia exclusive or let alone a PC exclusive, but in time I can almost guarantee the Halo community won't give a shit about this game. One positive we can get from this? Possible worldwide Halo titles being released on PC in the future, depending on how this beta testing goes and how the title runs on PC. Anyway that's all I know. Personally, I think the game looks pretty bad. Its certainly not a traditional arena shooter and it looks like a cluster fuck of Halo games. I think we would be better off if this stays in Russia.
none of this matters to any of us not in russia.
VPN possible?
VPN possible?
Probably.
Pay to win.
still better than h5

Pay to win.

Someone on 4chan cracked it already and it can be booted offline.

That Turf reskin looks incredible tbh
It looks cool but from the OP it seems more like a Halo COD than any other halo before it.

Turf and Avalanche remake looks so nice :O
I just hate sprint you go from S2 to Top Gold in like 2 to 3 second it is way to OP
Also you pick up weapons instantly whenever you walk over it, i was fucking around with a missle pot on Valhalla for 2 minutes my spartan kept picking it up when i dropped it

And by the way i play everything low and view distance and textures were at medium otherwise it would drop to like 10 fps..
I think the game still needs to be optimized ALLOT!

Also here is my first impressions video!

I think u guys will all agree with me on this ;)

Some have said people in the halo community won't care about this game. But I can say if it was avalible in Canada I would download it. Im probably never going to buy a new console untill they are much MUCH cheaper.
Took awhile for me to get it working but I've been playing around in it and it plays/feels great.

Besides sprint, fall damage, ridiculous BR spread...
Yea...

We PC gamers have asked for a competitive Halo title on PC for years, and then they make this :D

Yea...

Spread is no worst than Halo 3

: ^)

I haven't noticed any fall damage though and I was using the brute shot to launch myself pretty high.

I don't know how anyone who has played Halo before could be interested in this game.

The sprint looks incredibly fast and completely breaks the flow of the Halo 3/2 maps. They added loadouts and of course the DMR which is a nice way to ruin BTB play, and I bet you can increase its fire rate or something similar with the customization to make it even more powerful.

Even infinity slayer on Halo 4 is more balanced and fair.

It's p2w mate, it was never designed to be fair.

I like sprint so yeah. As far as fall damage, I don't have any in my game so I don't know why you have it.

I know. I was just commenting on the weird hype going on with this game after seeing all the hate on the new Halos.

I'm happy that this not the Halo 5 we will get gameplay-wise.

Fuck F2P

....There's already been huge work done by the modding community to make this a full fledge Halo MP game with none of that $ restrictions...its gonna be amazing:

Yeah, with modding this game could be somewhat similar to Halo 3. Not interested in the actual game, but hats off to the modders.
Rather just have a working MCC than this shit TBH.

Anyone here play this game? I tried it now the second time and got it working somewhat before it went back to normal AKA not starting at all. And how the fuck does one get it past the jittery 15-60 fps mess it is? Found this montage, it's actually pretty cool.

Mine stays at a pretty consistent 60fps, but the installer can be very finicky when its wants to be. I tried 6 or 7 times to get this thing installed and only twice has it worked out really good.
turn on vsync. solves most performance problems.
Thanks for the replies guys. Vsync helped the massive screen tearing but not much since the game is capped at 60 fps anyway. But it's impossible to play seriously a multiplayer pc shooter that way. I got around 20 fps average on everything set to low/off. On a 480p resolution.
