Hi guys, So about a month back I was asked by a forum member(Alen) if I would like to edit a montage for him. The gameplay was very enjoyable to me and just what I was looking for so I of course accepted. I've used this song in the past with a non halo related video but for over a year I've wanted to specifically edit a H2 montage with it. One with nice solid gameplay and a really fun vibe to it. I had a really fun time working on this project and hope you all enjoy : )

Music - What So Not - High You Are (Branchez Remix)

I hope you guys enjoyed it.
Wow, that was sick ass gameplay. I'm front paging this.

Alen is so good

Kreygasm

really awesome stuff. edit was basic but it let the GP do all the talking and it came out awesome. lot of great stuff on your end Alen. That last sequence was really exceptional and there were a ton of strong plays through out. Very solid rrbx plays throughout the video. Tbh probably my favorite h2c video to come out since MCC. excited to see what else you have going on in the clip department.

Wow fuck me, Alen that gameplay was great.

Gameplay audio was so loud I could barely hear the song though, but I assume you just wanted to let the gameplay do its thing.

Great video guys

That was an awesome video! Those sniper kills were sick. Awesome job guys!
Daaaang that was nice gameplay. I liked the last clip especially. Also that noob combo sanc killtac
damn good  video
that made me moist.
dirty as fuck.

Great video guys

thought the gameplay was fine. to say the editing is basic is stupid as shit lol. the editing was fantastic and the gameplay was great. really didn't expect that caliber of GP from ya, Alen. was pleasantly surprised and loved the video as a whole

Wasn't a fan of the music.  However, that Banshee stick Overkill on Ascension was really dirty.   I loved the Kill Frenzy on Sanctuary just because you kill those 5 guys all in different ways.   And that back to back Frenzy at the end made my jaw drop.  Fantastic video Alen, good work.
nice double shot controller fgt
Came on here to show Alen and Paul some love. Great job to the both of you, and Alen, some of the gameplay was fucking stupid good.

Thanks for the nice comments.
great player great editor, great video! good to see you doing halo stuff again Paul! hope all is well too!
Man Alen, this almost makes want to stop calling you babydickbabydickbabydick. Almost.
Dunno why anyone would be shocked about the gameplay. My nigga Alen is niiiiiiiiiiiice.
Some real sick gameplay in there Alen. Nicely done.
That was a really fun and enjoyable watch! This must be the MCC montage I've enjoyed the most. Nice to see a video where almost all the plays were displayed at their full length, especially when you managed to make it flow so well. The transitions were simple, but really good. I'm guessing you put some time and effort into the clip placement. Had to rewatch that Lockout/Middy-transition around the 2:30 mark, as it was so smooth. And good job on making me believe those last two clips were back to back frenzies. Almost god like silly stat, timer and map position-timing on those two plays. Gameplay was skillful and diverse. And I really dug that song! Well delivered, guys!

What!?  I thought it was the same clip?  Fuck I'm slippin'

I don't think you're the only one. That transition was illusionary well organized.

Yeah I spent the most time working on the clip placement. I'm not a huge fan of constantly speeding up and slowing down the footage to make things sync up. I try every clip I have for every section until I find one I can work with that will flow naturally with only minor tweaks needed.  So that I'm able to have everything flow nicely while still being able to appreciate the awesome gameplay without any unnecessary effects. That style some vid makers have where they speed&slow down clips too often to sync things up. For some videos and games it works a lot better. A good example being Css or CS Go or COD(never play cod so idk, only have seen montages) It's just not typically my style most of the time because I don't like the way it looks with halo. The hundreds of montages I've seen from this site over the past 9 years, the ones that flow nice with the song without flashy effects or sometimes over editing to where you have no idea what's going on with the clips at all *cough* Qsk King *cough*  (kidding cause I use to love some of his work)...but I was young and didn't understand nearly as much about editing like I do now. Still a trillion things to learn but that's the fun of it.

When I was near finished with the video I realized those clips could be cut together in a way that really makes it seem like a continuation of the clip before it. The score is very similar as well for both clips which also helps create the illusion that it's just one long amazing clip.

I don't think you're the only one. That transition was illusionary well organized.

I'm happy that my simple tweaked crossfade fooled you guys so well haha. It was just lucky that last clip had him standing in the exact spot on the map I needed him to be at for the "illusion" to work.

great player great editor, great video! good to see you doing halo stuff again Paul! hope all is well too!

Thanks Nick, I appreciate the comments and I hope you're doing well too man. Hope you're in good health :)

I was just a tiny bit worried that not everyone will enjoy the song I used. It's almost kind of a song that some people would need to be smoking cannabis or whatever drug to enjoy it. Glad most of you liked it tho.

yeah, that was meant towards skols.

which u should have inferred becuz i dont talk 2 weenies or anyone that throws a frisbee and calls it a sport

Stable plays for sure. Alen shreds.
Awesome video guys. I was reading the comments a few days ago when I was sailing and didn't have the bandwidth to watch and was getting pumped to see this. Definitely wasn't let down. Very good watch. Smooth edit, sweet clips (especially the frenzy sanc and last clip) and overall really enjoyed it!
Best tage I've seen all year hands down , let's run some h2c man my gt is Organic On3, also check out my highlights video I just dropped
Had to watch this again. I keep forgetting how aggressive you play, and how clutch this video is. We definitely need to do some more 1v1s soon fam
hnnnnng, been meaning to watch this and not sure why i just got around to it, alen and empty are two of my favorite creators and this completely lived up to my expectations. the word i kept coming back to was how real this tage was. gameplay was played out by itself for the most part and i loved watching your movement throughout the clips. clips i especially loved: plasma pistol dancing sanctuary frenzy, crazy spree on the last clip, lockout sword snipe frenzy (fucking unreal), and way too many others. great tage by the both of you, thanks a ton for this i genuinely loved it.
