You guys are having this conversation and somehow Smuttny hasn't thought to bring up that the Cavaliers were 1-8 during the stretch that Lebron James was out.
A team of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love would only make the playoffs in the East because the East is trash. Same goes for Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh with no Lebron. Either of those teams in the West would get annihilated. If your argument is saying which team would be worse off without their respective superstar the answer is still the Cavaliers. Lebron James is more important than any other player, no matter what team he plays for, end of discussion.

lol yeah, i strongly dislike skip. i think he says controversial shit on purpose just to piss people off, but i guess that's how he makes his money
i just don't have an argument against lebron winning MVP, but i also don't have an argument against harden winning it either. this will be the closes it's been in years, we haven't even talked about steph curry as a candidate either

there's no way steve kerr doesn't get coach of the year. but yeah, Curry is definitely in the discussion.
I think houston has a really well rounded team, even without DHoward imo. but Harden does create a lot of opportunities and take a game over.
Also feels weird how Westbrook is also in the race instead of Durant
Hey yo wasn't that the point though? They have other guys who can play well and make them a capable team. I know it's one game but still, this is a hell of a one game sample size considering it's arguably the best team in basketball and none of their starters are sitting.
hey man come on, you follow sports just as much as i do. you know not to overreact to one game. thats the one rule
that team was still good when its bench was bare (no corey brewer or josh smith) and it was because of harden
i wouldn't be saying this if the cavaliers beat a team without lebron for one game

That play Chicago just ran out of bounds to gain the lead was fucking beautiful.
edit: and then Brooks draws up that piece of shit LOL.
The fact that Scotty Brooks still has a job is astounding. I have never seen a clearer case of a coach blatantly holding a team back. They have two players who can singularly make arguments as a top 3 player in the league when they are on, A incredibly solid supporting cast, and a great rim protector and still can't go all the way. It's incredible.
Best game I have ever watched. Hands down. Felt better than Ray Allen's immaculate shot in Game 6 of the Finals. This was poetry in motion. I almost shut it off when we were down by 9 with a minute left. Absolutely the craziest game I have ever had the fortune of watching while it was happening.
Go to sleep San Antonio. Kyrie Irving aka "Uncle Drew" aka Tony Parker's biological father. My Cavs got you fucking sick in overtime, at your stadium. Just cemented this rivalry for the playoffs. I can't wait to see us silence their crowd again.
P.S. - Going to see the Raptors vs the Heat tonight at the Air Canada Centre. Best tickets I've ever had to an NBA game. i r excite.
