Yeah in future releases I'll include a batch script for windows and a bash script for linux that will execute the jar. Right now if you're on windows just double clicking the jar should open it.

Oddly there is no .jar file for me. I extracted the file and then there is another encoder to extract and still no .jar file.

You most likely have extensions disabled in windows. If it's showing up as an archive you are doing it wrong. I made a video tutorial, you could try watching that? Also, try downloading the 7zip instead of the zip, I haven't verified that the zip works.

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I tried .avi and .mov, but it doesn't encode. It flashes Time Left: 0% and Encoding Audio... and fails to produce a file. I'm a noob when it comes to encoding, but I assume it's misreading the file that I imported and not encoding anything at all. I'm on a MAC btw. Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure the directory you put his encoder in is without spaces. For example, I extracted the 7z file to C:\Bjorns_x264..... and so on.

I actually have it working, with audio encode/muxing and all on Windows 7 32-bit.
