If you were into gameplay, you'd appreciate it. You told me yourself you've only edited, so I understand why it's absurd to you.

Try to look at it not as an artistic video, but as a highlight reel. The editing and presentation are essentially translucent; it lets the plays speak for themselves. That can be good, that can be bad. It depends on how good the footage is.

In his case, many agree the footage was strong enough to make the video a classic.

If Vidol's name was swapped with Kampy, it still would have been considered the best social video to date. As for the social vid genre, how can you ignore it? You'd have to of closed your eyes for the past 5 years on this site to not recognize how popular it is.

Maybe Roadblock's gameplay is so f..king beautiful because it's not overedited to the point that at the end of the video your eyes hurt from all the f..king flashing and cutting.

But then again, I think the only reason the gameplay from other tages is even bareable is because the editing makes it look 'better' than what it actually is by cutting and flashy sh.t.

I think that's what makes RB's so amazing. It was just... pure f..king gameplay. The editing wasn't distracting or hiding anything, and it raped people.

Also, just because they do something flashy doesn't mean it wasn't skillful. Now, maybe what RB was doing wasn't exactly the most tactical thing he could have done. But everything in that f..king tage was downright ridiculously skillful.

I'm pulling for Roadblock. The GP was just too amazing.
