So if I put a $1 fee for entering into the Top 10 Series it would weed out the sh.t? I don't think so. It would filter everyone who doesn't have a Paypal setup. It's not that $10 is a lot of money, it's just that those willing parents will have to shell out money for a Halo 3 video contest that their kids have no chance of winning. Everyone knows how this will end. Kampy, Phurion, Zola, or whoever is big nowadays will win.

How interesting would this be if you didn't know who created each entry? Then at the end, you found out. I bet people would be surprised whose videos they liked and whose they didn't.

1st.... your about a week late on the whole price issue thing.
2nd... i was wondering how people like Kampy, Phurion, Zola, or whoever is big nowadays" got to be big names... Its because they make videos a large majority of the community enjoy.
3rd... If people give you clips for your top ten things they are doing YOU a favor.
4th... If one of my friends made an amazing video, and he didnt have the money to put it in the comp... i would probably pay for him
5th... the "unrelated" idea was dumb because people use names, team names, and etc during the tages...so no.

If someone isn't will to put the small amount of effort to send the entry fee to the organizers, then there is a 100% chance they're not going to put enough effort into their video.

I hope Phurion enters with something huge that hes been working on in secret.
