Halo Wars - Best Unit?

Let's say you have 50 population limite and you can create only one unit. What do you pick?

What is the best unit in bulk? This is excluding the Scarab.

Second question is this, from a tactical stand point what character is best to use?

i would pick the scarab, the best unit in bulk is probably hawks as long as they dont have cryo freeze and think the best character is the arbiter

Fully upgraded arbiter is by far the single-most powerful unit in the game. And I mean in both categories (invisible with powered dual swords and fully upgraded rage). This is only if you have infinite resources...hopefully your interesting scenario would have that. The arbiter fully upgraded can destroy a legion of 20 HAWKs singlehandedly WHILE GAINING HEALTH. Broken....

Plus you can teleport him back to the base if you have 100 resources.

In bulk...it depends on what the other team is using. Hunters rock all vehicles except air. HAWKs rock anything except for anti-air. Grizzlies rock everything except anti-vehicle. Depends on the situation.

Arbiter can pretty much own anything, so I say Arbiter + Banshees = Rape.

I am probably going to use him for now on and try out your ideas.

if hes owning hawks cryo the area as theyre flying away then drop a disrup and rape him, not hard

Arbiter + Vultures
no contest. Fully upgraded vultures kill everything in an instant and can take a lot of damage

wtf? vultures go down FAST to odsts, anti air, vampires, hawks, arbiter or prophet, plus slow/costly... more of a building killer than anything

Scarab beat everything one on one, period. The Arbiter is a superstrong second. And my number three has to go to the Grizzly, haven't lost a single match with Forge yet (Major, you do the math how many matches that would be)
