 Bryans Strategy :: Halo: Reach Montage 1 - Edited by Zhestal Hello, everybody. After editing for many months, I proudly present Bryans Strategy’s first Halo: Reach montage. For the backstory: Spoiler!   Soundtrack: Extinction - Brand X Music Overture 1928 - Dream Theater Sleep Apnea - Chevelle The Great Pumpkin Tapes - The Flashbulb People I personally would like to thank: Bryans Strategy – Wow, it’s crazy to realize this video is finally done. Past players I edited for would just give me clips and never talk to me ever again. There’s no doubt that we have become great friends over the months. Thank you for letting me edit, staying persistent, giving me great feedback, telling me what was good and what was not, etc. To this day, I feel incredibly lucky to have you ask me to edit. I didn’t know what to expect. Best of luck in the future. Cause of Hell – I apologize that I never heard of you until Bryan invited you to play 2v2s in the summer. Thank you for giving me feedback on effects, renders, giving advice, and helping me get back on the project during my time of lost motivation. Also thank you for letting me edit for you. You are amazing at what you do and are a great person and friend. Toastyame – Only talked to you for about a month but you and Mike (CoH) helped me get back on the project despite how I didn’t want to edit. Really appreciated your support, man. Thomasxp5 – Thanks for feedback on renders (you might not remember the earlier ones). I’ve had great times with you on H2V. You're a pretty cool guy  Thank you for boosting my confidence not too long ago. Best of luck in your future videos. Don’t worry, everything will eventually work out  Backfire – Believe it or not, you were the biggest confidence booster I had during the making of this montage and made me realize that my editing wasn’t as bad as I thought haha. | Great job pulling through and finishing a project with so much time behind it. That was a good watch, man. As for the editing, it was good, but I'd really like to point out some things. Too many times I saw you really force a clip to sync (cutting very fast to the next dmr/snipe shot because you wanted to hit a beat; forcing an angle/slowmo because you wanted to hit a beat, etc). That's not very good for the viewer's focus on the footage, to be honest. Other than that, though, you did a pretty good job of keeping the footage fairly raw, but paced with the music and synced consistently. Would have liked a little bit more creativity on your part, mainly because the same couple ideas were thrown around the entire video, but it wasn't too big of a deal. Also, that intro was really good man. I typically hate when people use scores like that, but you pulled it off man. Great job Last edited by Standards; 02-01-2012 at 06:03 PM. |

| I can't remember the last time i enjoyed a montage that much, i absolutely loved everything about it. The editing flowed perfectly with the songs, and the GP was sick. Easily in my top 5 for reach montages so far, i also remember matching up with you a while back on the iNeed a Trocity tag and almost getting a few clips on you Last edited by QuiGz; 02-01-2012 at 06:04 PM. |

| Gameplay was sick apart from the huge amount of asylum clips, and I don't know why you didn't atleast put 1 of your Sanc Flag exterms in this? Edited was pretty awesome aswell, accompanied by great angles. The only things I had a problem with was the over use of twixtor in some parts, and a few quick cuts. But great job to both of you. |

| That was excellent. I wasn't the biggest fan of the song choice, but the gameplay was incredible, with some great exterms and sexy clips all the way through. Honestly, though, I was most fond of the no-scopes. The editing was good for the most part. What was with that random-ass flare on the final clip, though, lol? |

| That was actually really enjoyable. I am an extreme hater of Twixtor, and it seemed like you over used it a tad, but it wasnt too bad. There was some things that were over cut. The creativity wasnt totally there for me either. But honestly the editing was solid, and I loved the intro. The GP was great as well. Good job broski. |
