Hey all,

This is just a little video I made out of love for my community. It's chill, it's funny, and there are fails. If you're looking for real impressive stuff, this isn't for you--although, there are some pretty solid multikills in here. I made this because I think too many people have forgotten what Halo is really all about... just having fun.

So, go on, show me a smile.

I hope you enjoy this. If you could drop any comments or feedback below, I'd really appreciate it.

This is my first actual "montage" that I captured with my HD PVR. I'm excited to see what you guys think.

The only reason you think this community is so awesome and ~w0nd3rful~ is because you haven't been here for over a month. Give it a few months and you'll regret making a video for "your community".

I don't think it's more of people "forgetting what halo is really all about"... I think Halo Reach just sucks dick and isn't fun to begin with. Doing bicycles in warthogs isn't fun to a lot of people suprisingly. It's a fucking chore for me to get on Reach too play it.

If you really do have fun on Halo still then, i fucking envy you. everything that you think is funny pisses me off.

By "community" I meant the Halo community in general. I may only recently have joined this site, but I've been with the community from the beginning.

That's your opinion. Personally, despite all of its BS and flaws, I love Reach. I'm certainly not alone in that sentiment, but neither are you. I respect your opinion, and I can definitely see where you're coming from. What saved Reach for me was the sheer number of options--all the different things you can do.

And I know a ton of people who think flipping around in a Warthog is the best thing ever. Some people don't care about multikills or montages or anything like that. Some people just want to have fun.

And yes, I do have fun on Reach. While Reach may be the most flawed Halo, it's the one I've enjoyed the most, perhaps it's due to the endearing ups and downs, or maybe it's just because I'm not as competitive as I could be. Whatever the reason, it's not important.

Just look at the fucking numbers, there's like hardly anybody on Reach. Nobody plays the game, just compare the numbers of the people who play Reach to even that of H3. It's pathetic, but you're right, it's your opinion.

Though I don't understand how you can have fun on a game even you admitted to having a lot of bullshit and flaws, but hey, I suppose fun is subjective and different strokes for different folks. Some people just like bullshit and flaws.

Are those people under the age of 16?

What if going for multi-kills and making montage is what makes Halo fun for you? What if "just caring about fun" is making videos? Did that ever occur to you? After all, you're the one who brought up fun being subjective no?

I just can't grasp how you can enjoy a game because of it's ups and downs; and flaws.. over a game such as H2 which was actually fun because it was a you know, good game.

I never said that wasn't fun. I totally understand people whose idea of "fun" is doing precisely what you said. I also totally understand people who think "fun" is building a giant teleporter cannon in Forge and shooting themselves out of it in a Warthog. As you said, fun is subjective.

I agree with you that going for multikills and making montages is part of the fun. I go for multikills too. But that's not the only thing in the game. And if you're playing the game just one way, to do one thing, of course it will get boring. Of course it will suck. At one point, I was just done with MM. I was fed up with it and I thought it was excruciatingly repetitive and boring. So I played as many custom games as I could and took advantage of everything Halo had to offer, from Forge to making videos.

You play how you want. You do what you want. That's your right.

I have that same right. Just because you think Reach sucks and you think it's boring and you think the only fun in the game is making montages doesn't mean your opinion is fact. Neither of us is right here. This is all just opinion in the end.

And if you really hate Reach as much as you claim, why do you bother making montages? What was with Swag 2? If you think Reach is dead and you hate it, why bother? Why not go back to H3?

I find Reach's ups and down endearing because I love Halo. The more I criticize Reach and the more I point out the flaws, the more I grow to love it. If I just blindly worshipped Reach, that would be stupid. For example, if you truly care about your country, you will call attention to what's wrong. But you won't leave the country, will you? If you care enough, you'll want to see change happen. It's really no different with Reach.
