As it should be, you don't make profit off of 60 AM teams. |

I have to agree with Smuttny on all of this "halo is dead" malarkey. If it were dead it wouldn't be played by tens of thousands of players from all over the world. Sure there's not nearly as many people as there were when it was released, but that goes with any game. I'm sure GoW 3 took a similar hit when MW3 came out. Just because the game's online multiplayer is not as popular as at the time of it's release does not mean that the game is dead. The fanbase is still alive & well...especially for Halo.
I don't deem ANY game as dead until support for that game ends (e.g. Halo 2.) On another note, we all know that the only reason that happened was because support for the original xbox was ceased. How many of you can honestly say that if they make a H2 anniversary in 2014, you wouldn't be all over it in a heartbeat? Let's say they do the same thing as with cea, making the game exactly the way it was 10 years prior, only graphically superior to its decade-old predecessor. I know I would. Don't get me wrong...I don't want to come across as a Reach fanboy because I'm far from it. I would much rather be able to get back on live with H2 or H3. Unfortunately, H2 is no longer online capable, and I don't have a copy of H3. Honestly, even if I had a copy of H3 I'd just play customs anyway. Now that I'm done rambling...back to the topic. Halo is NOT dead, and as long as 343 doesn't totally fuck it in the ass with H4, it never will. This game has been a staple of console gaming since day 1, and although I agree with Smuttny in that it is not dead, I wouldn't exactly call it the forefather of modern console FPS...more like the offspring of the OG console/PC shooters like Doom, Quake, 007, etc. Last edited by iEastmani; 11-25-2011 at 06:10 PM. |

Even if they sold out all the passes they don't even make back the prize money they give out. They make their money via the live streams and all that extra stuff. 60 AM teams doesn't really mean much, as long as they have enough for the stream.
But anyways.. SC2 is pretty much MLG now, but they also do care about all the games on the circuit. |

I don't see how sprint will be a problem with the kill times being reduced. The whole "make poor decision/run away" dilemma will be practically non-existent. That seems to be the main reason people want sprint gone. With that out of the way I don't see how it's harmful.

Something needs to be done about the pistol though. Spamming is a little too rewarding with it. |

they should just add custom game search as a playlist and you can browse servers over xbl so you can find the games you want. id be happy if the number of people on matchmaking went down, as long as they then were playing custom games or something.
there is no point in match making to me, it just matches you with a team of which hopefully someone doesnt quit/cheat/play game u dont want to. all when you could have a group of consistent players playing any game you want blah blah im rambling |

Can't wait!

Hope I'm not coming off the wrong way...I'm not trying to dumb down your idea...just expanding on it so to speak. I would LOVE it if H4 had a system like that of H1 PC. |
