By the way (and fortunately for you), this isn't about anything other than people spouting incorrect information about something they know little about. If you feel better playing on a small screen, cool. That has nothing to do with the OP's question about whether playing on a screen 100" or above doesn't rock because trust me, it does.

I'm convinced most Halo kids love H2 so much because it was the first Halo game that came out that they could buy on their own without tugging on mommy's sleeve.

I worked for an audio video company for 3 summers, and something I learned about Projectors is the following.

If you don't get a very high end projector, it sucks unless its completely dark and you have a good screen to project onto. (not being biased or a dick...just stating)

If you have a room that can be blacked out, and you get a decent screen for it, then this projector should be just fine. If not though,you'll need to shell out some more cash and get something with a bit more lumin's.

The other thing to look for, is price of the bulb, as you'll be using this thing alot more then your average user. Since the average user uses it strictly for movies and occasional TV shows, while as you'll be playing video games on it which is normally a much longer activity.

Sorry if I couldn't be more help or provide links, to be honest the only projects I've worked with (besides the cheap ones we use at school) are $50K +...and even when using some of those, we had major issues with rooms that weren't completely blacked out. The main issue is really that you can't use it unless its dark outside as well..if the rooms not completely blacked out.

Now this isn't to say it won't work with light in the room, I just feel it defeats the purpose of getting a huge screen when you can't even see anything on the screen (in detail)...especially when it comes to video games and you have to be constantly viewing things like a radar, people off in the distance, and even small things like grenades on the ground and such.

I use a 62" anything bigger than that for halo and it f..ks me up.

Awesome idea, make sure you have a good audio system. And the darker the room the better because it makes you see the projector better.
