Master Chief is a Spartan II and Noble 6 is a Spartan III. This fact alone can help determine a theoretical winner. Spartan II's not only have decades of battle experience, more base training, but a better armor system and their biological augmentations are different as well.

Master Chief; while not the biggest, strongest or fastest of the Spartan II's, is by far the luckiest. This factor has lead to many of his accomplishment is his career. That is not excluding his training of his work with his fellow Spartan II's. The Mjolnir Power Armor system is designed to vastly improve the strength, speed, agility, reflexes and durability of it's wearer, mainly Spartan II's, normal humans were not...durable enough to use the armor.

Spartan B312 of Beta Company aka Noble 6. I know little about him. I see Reach as a stand alone story line and as far as I know there were only 2 survivors of Beta Company. those two being Tom and Lucy. But as I read more they were the only survivors of Operation: Torpedo. Noble 6's training was over seen by CPO Mendez and Lt. Kurt Ambrose. Mendez being the original Spartan II trainer and Kurt being a Spartan II, 6's training similar and more advanced than the Spartan II's but accelerated. His augmentation was similar to that of the Spartan II, it wasn't until Gamma Company (the next one, C,D,E were skipped, but I read that Delta was scheduled to be shipped in soon, that as before the Onyx incident) that the augmentation procedures were changed. The Spartan III's used SPI armor; Semi Powered Infiltration Armor, this was due to the fact the the Mjolnir was so expensive to make. SPI armor was designed with an emphasis on stealth rather than on raw power. It features special photo-reactive panels that mimic the surrounding textures, effectively being the UNSC equivalent to the Covenant's active camouflage systems. ~Edit~ (I just remembered after logging on today that even though Noble 6 is a Spartan II he did in fact were Mjolnir Armor, that said I apologize. My previous prediction still stands non the less.)


In an even fight, I would give the edge to Master Chief, but that being said, one should never bet against a Spartan. (Pulled most of this intel from memory but still used the Halo wiki as reference)

Halsey survived and during the 6's last stand I think you see Juni's body there with other Spartan bodies.

Both are good, the main edge MC has was Cortana's help but without N6 he wouldn't have her to help and note Cortana did choose N6 so N6 was close. Note if N6 had joined Keyes then maybe Johnson, Mirnada, may not have died. There's the real question "How would the series turned out if N^ was with MC?"

u cant compare two completely different people such as MC and N6. sure MC is totally badass and N6 went down fighting half a dozen elites but they both are trained the same, have roughly the same armour and training. and plus before N6 went to Nobal Team, we was a lone wolf spartan and had heaps of experience, as does MC.
