Anyone out there with a little Forging experience/expertise, I'd like some assistance.
If push comes to shove, I'll even be willing to pay just a little. All I need is a room with explosives. Any map will do. Now, I know what you're thinking, and yes--I can do that myself. But what I need is a little on the impossible side. I need a pair of doors at one end that can either be "blown off the hinges" or given the appearance of doing so. Like I said, I know doors on Forge aren't meant to be moved, unless by a Monitor--but even so, I don't need something that takes hours of preparation(hell, you can just use one spawn; it's what I prefer actually) I just want it to look like I'm bursting through the door in a blaze of operatic glory. (I'm making another montage.) If you're up for it, there's another task I might need you to complete, but I can't announce it here, everyone will know exactly what the montage will be about. So if you can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.Thanks! |

Hey! I know this thread's a bit old, but I thought i'd help you out. I'm pretty good with Forge myself.
I think I can do what you're asking. I'll give it a shot tonight. Also, check this out. http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list...eature=mh_lolz Heres my video series on Basic Forging. It describes some elements of level design and teaches you how to use Forge. The first 3 videos are super-basic (1st video is just an intro to the series) but 4-7 show some pretty useful stuff. |

You could make the door out of crates, but that might not look that good.

If I had time I would get back into 3d design and do some cool Halo animations like RvB does. At the moment not enough time though.
