If you've played the campaign on legendary with a group, you'll get the multiplayer legendary pin, but to get the solo legendary pin, you need to complete all missions again on your own starting from the first cutscene level, the one that comes before "Winter Contingency." I think you also need to play out the Lone Wolf mission too before you get the solo legendary pin (and achievement). Think you may get armour unlocks from Halo Waypoint too...

Just tackle Legendary solo, man. Once you get over the fact that you never have enough ammo for anything at all, it's pretty nice.
