I was a huge fan of Halo 1. Huge fan, not only for its multiplayer, but for its single player as well. Halo 2's campaign was complete crap IMO, and Halo 3 was just ok. ODST was a waste of money. But based off the videos I've seen for Halo Reach's campaign, it's look to be on par with Halo 1.
How good do you guys think the Halo Reach campaign will be, and do you guys plan on jumping into multiplayer or single player first when you get the game? |

I think h2 campaign was better than halo 1(minus the stupid arbiter side story). It was really cinematic and exciting. Halo 1 was good but most of the missions felt like the they were just "go here, shoot everything". Halo 3 was pretty bad except for a few parts.
But, I think Reach is gonna be awesome. The new characters are going to finally bring some character (uh..?) to the campaign. Master Chief was designed to be a near emotionless husk that you make kill everything but the guys in Reach are fleshed out people, so that should be cool. Plus, as the final in the "Halo series", Bungie is packing more awesome per second that all the other titles combined. If I pickup Reach at midnight, I'm gonna jump straight into multiplayer but I'm for sure going to play the campaign quite a few times. Once on normal for the feel of it, once on solo legendary for the achievement and then they're going to have challenges based on campaign missions. |

halo 3's was good and long (in before twss)
halo 2 was a little disappointing, but of course multiplayer made up for it. halo 1 was crazy awesome. I don't know why, it just had an awesome feel about it. halo reach will probably beat halo 3 but not halo 1 imo. |
