-Story Behind The Project-
I originally got 60+ clips capped 2 years ago, and began searching for an editor. Things went down hill from there, as my project had been dropped 6 times before the successful release. During those times, I lost the majority of clips, leaving me with around 10 clips that I had backed-up, fortunately, these clips were comprised of my best. After collecting a few Reach clips, I wanted to try to get the project started again. I saw some highlight reels from MK and asked him if he could edit my project, which he accepted. This video contains clips ranging from 2008-2011 (H3), and the Reach clips are from Reach's release up to this last summer. Finally, after 2 years of waiting, the "remnants" of my clips were put to use. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the project. I never expected MK to step it up so much, especially considering the amount of work he has done previously. I loved the angle choices and transitions. The song isn't an easy one to edit to as well, so I think it turned out amazing. I hope you all enjoy this! To anybody who is or has had problems like me, don't give up, because it's worth it in the end. Be sure to watch in HD! This was fucking sick. Some of those H3 clips were ridiculous. That 180 on guardian, holy shit. Editing was excellent too imo. Lots of nice angles that didn't interrupt the flow of the clips and great syncing. Not a lot more you could ask for in an edit, thought it was excellent.

Mother of god that 241 overkill on guardian.
The gameplay overall was enjoyable, but some clips like that and the noscope overkill on the ghost were just ridiculous. Editing showed off the gameplay well, but didn't really do anything other than that. Seemingly not much effort put into creating a flow and whatnot. |

Gameplay was very impressive. This was the first montage in a long time with gameplay that literally made my jaw drop. Editing was decent for the most part. The transitions were great, especially the one at 54 seconds. Didn't like the intro titles though.
And Crossfire, I know that feel bro. Up until the end of last year I had been trying to get someone to capture my clips for over two years. And after 3 people offering to do it, I finally got them capp'd. Now I just need to get off my lazy ass and edit them into a montage. |
