If it works, that's great. At the time of making this tutorial, handbrake didn't work very well for me, if they updated it since, and it works, that's great. This tutorial is actually quite outdated as well
 . Best way to do this is to compile the programs and dependencies directly on the computer instead of going through macports.

This guide is awesome. This produces the highest quality compressed video footage by far. I'm always experimenting with this type of stuff, but I don't think I need to anymore. Thanks a ton for this. I wish I would've run into it before I posted my latest montage. Frags guide for windows is also equally awesome. Thanks guys.

No, actually, but there are much easier ways to do it on windows.
