Halo 3 File Transfer Tutorial
by: Nv1ncible Short Explanation This tutorial will show you how to copy clips, gameplays, custom maps, gametypes, and any other Halo 3 File from your Xbox 360 hard drive to a USB Flash drive. For the video making community, this means you will now no longer need an Xbox Live Gold account to send your clips and gameplays to a capturer. This is accomplished by taking advantage of a recent Xbox Dashboard update from Microsoft, that now allows you to use any external flash media as a memory unit for the Xbox 360. Watch the tutorial below for step by step instructions. Edit: You must enable the "view hidden files/folders" option for explorer in Windows. If you are using Mac OS, then the folder should already be visible (I have not confirmed this for myself however). There are some concerns that I address at the end of the video, but if anyone thinks of any others, or has any questions, please respond in the thread. I think this process is going to be incredibly helpful for people, and I decided it was just too good of a thing to keep secret. - To Mods, I debated putting this in the Video Help Forum, but I feel this will be helpful to enough people that it would be worth posting here, as it will obviously get more attention in this forum.
