I'm not sure if this was the right place to put this but could somebody give me some insight on which product I should purchase for capturing clips...

These are the two I'm looking at currently, tell me if you use something else that works better and is cheaper (That'd be greatly appreciated)

Love your post. I am just now jumping on the band wagon into montages, and this really helped me. I already had Vegas 8 but the idea of starting small is really helping me. The videos were great!

Yea, I'm trying something different because I'm just not that impressive of a player. I'm just taking awesome stuff that happens in forge and condensing it into something entertaining, hopefully.

Ya , thx for the help dude, I am getting a dazzle in a few months from bestbuy ,and i'm gonna make a dualtage with my buddy, it's gonna take a while to make, but at least its gonna be good, and its gonna stand out.
