This is probably a dumb question, but I need to know.
I'm thinking about buying a 360 and I was wondering if I have to buy Halo 3 seperately if I buy Halo 3: ODST? I read in one thread that you'll get a Halo 3 disc with ODST. Is that correct? One more question. ODST is not a new game, just an extension of Halo 3? What is so special about ODST? Will you get some new maps that you can use in Halo 3? And what is fireflight? Ok, there were more than one question but I'd be glad if someone gave me some tips. |

You'll get a multiplayer disc with ODST which contains all the downloadable maps for Halo 3, but you won't be able to play the campaign whit this disc.

You get a multiplayer disc with it however you don't get campaign disc for Halo 3. I would get ODST because you need all the maps for matchmaking these days, and it would be a waste if you buy them off the marketplace then you get ODST.

Well he still won't be able to play Halo 3 Co-op online. Which is kind of a big deal. I wouldn't skip that experience, but yeah I guess if the choice is between ODST or Halo 3, go for ODST for additional MP content.

I was asking this question too the other day, i could not create a thread because you need 10 posts to make one. I bought the game and I am very happy that I purchased it. It comes with Halo ODST and Halo 3 Online. Also comes with much more maps , Basically all the maps that ever came out for Halo 3. I never played the Halo ODST .
