This is an excellent theory, i thought that that would be the case as well. But reviewing the facts, the planet (for the most part) was glassed over by the covenant after the fall of reach. I can't imagine the point for hurling Master Chief back onto the planet if there isn't anything there. the battle for reach happened 20 years before the halo event, so Chief wouldn't be a part of the battle for Reach. I predict that Halo:Reach is going to be some kind of a prequel to the Halo trilogy.

hey has anyone ever thought of a really good idea for as multiplayer map on blood gulch like adding the map to halo 3 or ODST and starting with a heap of marines etc on one base and a heap of covenant on the other and scoring it like a firefight but just having one massive battle!!!

Yeah, I think this is the case. Reach will probably be the prequel to Halo CE, telling us about the spartans and that...I hope you get to play alongside other Spartans =)))))) that would just rock...I think reach would be, as they call it, a "prologue" to the events on Halo CE. It would give more insight to the Halo series, as In CE, you start off on the ship, Pillar of Autumn...Reach would tell you how it got to that point, just as ODST give you insight on Halo 3's events?
