There's a huge difference between discussing what should be changed and just flat out whining. What do you want changed about Halo 3's multiplayer? I personally would like the grenade damage amount increased. They don't do enough to change the tone of a battle mid-battle, the person just usually finishes up killing you while you throw it. Not to mention they have to be standing directly on them to be significantly damaged. Almost the same problem as Halo 2 1.0. Also, has anyone noticed that whoever is connection host often shoots you through solid walls? Host doesn't have a whole lot of weapon advantage like in Halo 2, but the "bullshit" is definitely still there. I'd like that to be adjusted if at all possible. What about you guys?
AR should be less powerful in mid-range combat. A complete noob with an AR should not be able to take out a pro with a BR at mid-range by using the 'spray and pray' technique.' Keep it to close-mid range dominance.
There are many, many things im going to point out, ill edit them in. Things that need to be fixed in Halo 3 V1.05 -Melee damage: I think it is far to much, and the melee distances are a little to short. -Sniping: The bullets seem to "curve" sometimes, and this gets annoying. -Battle Rifle: There are points where you can shoot though the wall (I.E holes and such) but other times there is that obvious host bullshit. I highly doubt that they will be able to correct the host advantage without some serious programming. (I.E introducing "equal lag" into the host's point of view, equal to that of everyone else in the party). -Sword: Sword vs. Sword is fucking retarded, it takes 3-4 hits to kill the other when you lunge at the same time, letting someone kill you\other person while you are fucking around with the lunges. -Brute hammer: Should be removed from the game. -Assault Rifle: Less AR damage, larger clip. -Needler: That thing is way overpowered, maybe the damage it does should be rediced 25-40%, and the clip size upped by 50% or something similar. -Grenades: Damage is fine, but the range at which the damage is applied is far to short. Ive had many times where ive dropped a grenade under someone's feet, and it only do 60-80% shield damage. I personally think there should be button glitches. They made Halo 2 a game that was completely different from any other First Person Shooter, the fact that you could get out of almost any situation alive, and if you were in a disadvantaged position, you could glitch your way out of it (I.E nade reload, RRBX, Double shot, etc, etc). That made the game, in a sense, a lot harder to play, and if you mastered the glitches, it gave you a serious edge over everything\everyone else. What im getting at is, they brought a unique streak into the game, something that would never had been there if it hadnt been for the glitches, it made the game so much more un-predicting, because without those, it would be the same old run-and-gun to the melee\death grenade after the end of the battle. Glitches brought the game onto a whole new level. Last edited by low strife; 10-01-2007 at 03:24 PM.
beatdowns, if anything at all, fkn beatdowns also i know bungie's tryin to prevent derankers by turnin off the suicide penalty. but commiting suicide isn't the only thing people can do and derank. they can just run at the other team and die constantly. JUST TURN IT BACK ON! Last edited by .Hustla.; 10-30-2007 at 08:09 AM.
Less mid range power, bigger clip size. Sounds reasonable. Last edited by Tobey; 10-01-2007 at 03:14 PM.
if i hear one more person whinge about there not being button glitches, im gonna scream, LEARN TO PLAY THE GAME WITHOUT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF GLITCHES U STOOGES! i mean cmon, this game took 2 years to make, so yer, all the things are there for a reason. stammo.
