-New Maps (especially ones that allow for a greater variety of tactics)
-Renewal of old maps
-Stronger VIP overshield
-Some poor spawn locations (notably Narrows and HighGround)
-Auto Aim! Charging into a fray and the crosshairs dragging to a person running by. Get rid of it all together
-Dmg reduction on needler
-Slightly stronger plasma pistol
-First person view in passenger seat warthog
-If health based melee system is being used would prefer timing based
-Being able to choose whether a quitting team mate loses experience or not after the game (In case they had a legitimate reason and they were say in your party) (Courtesy of ZoLA)
-Being split-up from party in matchmaking (sometimes unavoidable, I know) but somehow reduce the occurance or increase the randomization of the seperated person

-Happy with Grenades, BR

I have 1 personal quam that I dont think anyone else has stated:

It IS about the ranking system ( wait wait, finish reading, I think this is a new idea-- i hope )

Is it fair that a level 50 in lone wolves is a level 1 in TS? I am trying to rank up, and enjoy my gameplay by playing people who are relatively the same skill as me. However, more and more people transfer over to different MM variations after they get to a certain level ( I can only assume its because they dont like to play other people who can actually beat them ).

So this is my idea: Have an individual MM rank ( as we already do ) but also have an over all rank that is valued by the average of all ranks?? ( I,E,- 50 TS 10 LW = 30 over all ) meaning that, that individual is ranked as 30 over all, and is assigned MM games by that.

Also, just another thought: Do not let people rank down less then 5, ever. ( Why would I even try to rank up if im a captain fighting brigadiers at level 23?? Just because they dont want to play people as good as them doesnt mean I want to be completely schooled against people obviously ALOT better then myself ) So why let these people derank themselves intentionally??? Why not just say that if you achieve a certain level, you are only allowed to go down a certain amount......or that you dont go down levels EVER, it only takes you X amount of more time to level up??

I don't know how to put this but I have a good deal of difficulty in telling how hurt I am during battles. This is the number one problem I have when playing and usually leads to my demise. I find myself looking up at my shield bar every half second during a gunfight to see how hurt I am which detracts from my ability to concentrate on my opponent. I've never had this problem in any other FPS I've played. In Halo 2 I ALWAYS knew pretty much exactly how hurt I was when I was playing and never had to look at my shield bar. For instance in Halo 3 my screen gives barely a slight flash of light when I get hit which misleads me to think that I took barely any damage while in fact I'm down to like 25% or something.

oh, and the beatdowns are fucked up beyond recognition. If Bungie doesn't fix that in the update, I could see alot of people getting upset to the point that they quit playing the game.

Honestly, there are a few things I would like to see fixed in the AutoUpdate. First and foremost, the melee system is messed up and needs more work than I care to imagine. Another one of my peeves, seeing as how I love to snipe, is the whole, "He's near a rock, so you'll see a blood splatter, but you're not actually hitting his head. Sorry!" I've come across many instances where I shoot an opponent in the head, two, sometimes three times before I finally get mad and have to move to take another angle at the shot. And the next time you take a similar shot with the top of the head showing, you hit them first shot. Strange, no? Make spike grenades a bit more potent. In my eyes, they pale in comparison in terms of the amount of damage they do compared to frags and plasmas. Spawn points on Narrows and High Ground are a strong pet peeve. Overshield might as well not even be used in VIP or Slayer variants since its nearly useless unless you JUST picked it up. Also, increase the speed to math MLG settings. Halo 3 just seems to play too slow sometimes.
Other than that, great job on the overall details of maps, weapons, etc. Love the new BR look
