im no legal expert but what you did doesn't sound legal either. Theres no way comcast would have a justfiable cause for you to be monitoring this kids Internet activity on your own time from your own computer, but you were using your position at work as justification. Can you monitor someones IP activity without a reason? In most organizations you can't use their private software and intellectual property for personal use outside of general business practice.

and I can't wait to switch to verizon fioz. i have comcast and they are the only company cracking down on torrentz. do you deal with those DCMA copyright infrigment letters that your company sends out???
