I HAVE A GOOD question about Halo 2 and 3, in the manual they say taht UNSC didn't yet discover how to change cores in plasma rifles and pistols, so obviesly Covenant know how to do that, so when you play as the Arbiter you excpect to know how to change cores and use the same plasma rifle again and again, but you can't!! Same thing happens in Halo3 (why??!!)

Probably because HE DIDN'T HAVE ANY SPARE PLASMA BATTERIES. Not to mention it would probably be faster in the heat of battle to just pick another PR up instead.

hey everyone the game wont let me have the IWHBYD skull when i get it i walk around for a min or two then i quit and it still says locked under the skulls. i have all but this one any ideas?

Sometimes the skulls dont 'register', if you got it to spawn and tried multiple times then i dont know... maybe bug the mods at bungie.net. All I can say is try it a few times, start from the beginning, and uh... post at B.net if that doesnt work :\ Also maybe complete the level if you havent tried that...

Ya, try completing the level seems as it takes about 30 seconds longer to do than quit when getting the IWHBYD skull.

look at my doubles games that were played on 10/27/07. I started as a 24 and my friend started as a 16. We went on a 20 game winning streak and overall i got MVP more games then he did but when we stopped playing he was a 44 and i was a 37. WTF!? If anyone knows whats up with this bullshit ranking system let me know.

Ok, one little question. If I play Social matches ( Player matches ), can I get my ranks rise? Or does this only happen when playing Ranked matches? I mainly favor Social matches because in ranked, you can't find those 16 player team slayers.

Rank on increases when you played Ranked matches, Social and Rank increase(or decrease your EXP) but only RANKED can affect your RANK. Private, Lieutenant, Major does NOT equal rank, if you are wondering. I'm talking about the actual number next to your name when you select a playlist in RANKED.

The ranking system isn't bullshit, it just takes much more into account than Halo 2 ever did. We don't know all the specifics but to some extent it does make sense. It takes into account what weapons you are using, your KpD ratio, where you died on the map, what weapon you died with, most often, least often. It takes into account so many things that bungie won't bother to explain it in any sort of detail. It's not bullshit.
