Streetlights has always been a favorite montage of mine.... I was semi new to halo when it came out and it set the bar for what I wanted to see in clips.... for me it hasnt been about how high your multikill was it was just all about solid gameplay. And the simplicity of the editing and the song made me enjoy it even more.

because it's an awesome H1 montage filled with unbelievable snipes/double melees, and because Rippon's H1 videos were a huge influence into me getting into the game.
These guys were how I originally got into the montage scene so it's really one of those nostalgia feel videos for me. I love the Eve 6 song and the "BOOM!" master chief popping up haha. Also, love how they went into the credits for this. I used to send friend requests to Phalanx like every day but never got a response.

Not sure if I could pick one favorite, but this is definitely the one that got me into the game. I watched this and played H2 for the first time in the same day, and I've been in love with the game ever since.
The clip beginning around 11:00 is pure nostalgia.

I just really loved Senix's stuff a ton (intro to Scuzz M2 kills me), I really enjoyed panzer's vids aswel (I used a song from his 7th montage is my Ohmage montage as kind of a tribute) them together is pretty fucking epic to me so thats why I'd throw Nostalgia out there. They're both often quite original with their soundtracks, which is also something I gravitate towards very much. Its just a ton of fun really

Apex, i watched it before ever playing halo 3 and thought damn, that looks like a lot of fun, i wanna do that. So it basically inspired me to get into making videos, and the fact that it still has better gameplay than 99% of stuff being released today is a testament to how fucking amazing it is. Also @Fitzy the 'back to back' 360s in small bump were just clever editing, sorry to burst your bubble :(
oh yeah and manwithoutmodem is imo the most well put together halo video ever. It's absolutely perfect, one clip just flows into the next so well - it's so fast paced but you can still tell exactly what's happening
