Yeah whoever thought up the idea of this event is pretty stupid.
HCS Season 2 Official Discussion Thread
Just wanted to post the results for anyone that missed it.
These teams will be playing in the Season 2 finals
What a clutch way to come back for EG..... Outslayed completely (Royal2 got a killtac exterm.....), yet EG got 2 back-to-back plants to win it 4-3
And just had to post the stats from Mikwen's spectacular game 4 in Winner's finals (if you missed it, definitely watch the whole Winner's finals series)

This was probably the best lan of Season 2. So many awesome series and games.
Just have to mention Winterfox's REALLY unfortunate loss in LB (after sweeping two THREE teams in LB) http://challonge.com/HCSIndy/standings

If they would have just won that game, this would have been 10x better
I laughed so hard when it hit 47min. Quickscopes are like unicorns to the announcers
Watch live video from Halo on Twitch
Yeah it really has lost a lot of its appeal. Excited to see how this closes out.
Here are predictions from HCS commentators

From what I've seen with every single LAN, it looks like the crowd is tiny AND they have zero enthusiasm. Although I'm sure the staff there could fix that by getting the crowd more into it (talking directly to the crowd and/or just showing the crowd to make them involved).
Also, XBL is down. The dumbest shit that can disrupt a LAN (which isn't really a LAN). Unreal
Well the Xbox servers are down. Is there any real reason why 343 didn't enable offline LAN games? As far as I know these kinds of delays have happened at every single tournament to some degree or another. Huge lack of foresight on 343's part.
i thought it was the xbox one that didnt have lan as a whole not just halo
