NFL Discussion Thread

yea thats how i feel

i've been in a THF league the past 3 years and now its just dead so i dont see the point. i maybe come back here once a week

atleast i get to see you enfyte in the draft reddit

There and twitter are the only places I go anymore.
I would be in the draft but I don't know jack shit about any other teams defenses

before we go forever, can we just talk about how dope leonard williams is gonna be

i mean jeez, when the redskins passed on him i literally shit a chicken

Nelson Agholor or TJ yeldon at the flex?

I feel like Atlanta has a weak secondary but I haven't done much research.

I'd say Nelson. Wouldn't bet on the Jags to do anything unless the show me something first. I have faith they'll be ok this year though for fantasy owners at times.
My favorite thing about football season is watching the Steelers get labeled as contenders almost every year, and they end the season 9-7 or below each time and don't ever get passed the first round. Fuck them.
idk fam. 11-5 last year and I would never count out a team with Roethlisberger but that's just me.
The Giants are gonna win it all this year.  It's destiny!

with those DBs I'd count them out every year. Fan of their offense tbh

Fucking hate the seahawks
Going to the colts game tonight, first game that I'm going that s MNF
People can talk shit about the Niners uniforms... But the cheerleaders uniforms last night were damn fine I say, damn fine.
Everybody I know irl liked em. I remember my patna had one sorta similar back in highschool n i've been waiting for the day they brought them g thangs out.
Broncos defense saves them once again. Why would you run the ball with 27 seconds left when you could just knee it and go to OT?
To win?
The game was tied 24 to 24. Chiefs get ball, run it, they fumble and we score. Why not just knee it and go to OT? Do you expect them to run the ball 80 yards down field? Why not try passing it. There's not enough time on the clock

Because Alex Smith is the QB... do you expect them to just never run the ball? It's not like you can predict a turnover. It's easy saying they should've done that, or this, in hindsight. Last time I checked the Chiefs haven't had a TD to  WR in like 18 games or something crazy, might've broken it though at some point. Regardless, it's not very often. I'd put my eggs in on Charles breaking a run for 50 plus yards than Smith throwing it 50 plus  yards. You play to win the game, and that's how they win... running the ball. They just played a shit game, and it shouldn't of even came down to that... they choked on a big veiny triumphant one at the end of the game.

A touchdown by a wide receiver means nothing. Their run game wasn't amazing that game so just take the knee and go to OT. You have a better chance throwing small yards then running out of bounds then running it and having a small small chance to go 50-60 yards for a field goal attempt
Yes, like I said... in hindsight it was a bad decision. If you can run a draw play like that while they're expecting you to take a shot down field and break a good run to get into FG position, then take it. Given the situation, they were trying to catch the Broncos off guard. It was just a botched play, shit happens, they're playing to win the game. Running the ball in that situation is like a half ass kneel, it's like saying we'll go into overtime, but might as well see if we can make something out of this. It happens pretty often, this is just one incident where it backfires.

Chuck Pagano said in a post game interview last night on the o-line: "been the case for 3 years now, has it not? Should be more than comfortable dealing with (it).

By the look of these words, he should be fired. He's been getting pass after pass for this o-line. It's old, fix it. Or leave. He's a great person and all, but a pretty bad coach.  Might as well fire the whole front office too because they don't understand that they have a potential hall of fame QB in their franchise and he's receiving almost nothing in return from the Colts, it's a damn shame. It really is.

You know what happened after we got shit on by the seahawks in the SB? Elway beefed up our defense and look how good it is now. Yeah you have to get the right players but as a coach that's your job. I didn't get to watch the game but losing to the jets? That shouldn't happen

Well chuck isn't doing his job and has pretty much given up on the offensive line. If they want to live to the hype of "Super bowl champions" it's time to react now. Do something, I hope they fire him now.

The game was probably the worst game I've seen from Luck, and I was there, at Lucas Oil.

The whole team was just awful, mostly the o-line though.

Well they have 47 days until I'm there watching my Broncos play them so they better get it figured out. I'd love a win but not a blowout
Our fanbase right now.
Eh, your team was like 2-14 when Luck came in for a 10-6 team with Peyton. A few busts of a draft picks doesn't help. When you play in that poop division you can have false confidence. On top of getting late round talent year after year. Jets D is really good, that's why they lost. They had QB play that didn't lose them the game, for once. You're acting like they're the worst team in the NFL. No, Colts weakness just went up against one of, if not thee best pass rush in the NFL. I personally didn't watch the game, so I can't say much about it though.

Oh don't get me wrong, the jets are a whole different team defense wise. They could be relevant this year

Colts o line is below average. Been like that since Manning left Indy. You think the front office will realize that but no.

And I mean good lord, frank gore fumbles the ball at the 3 yard line. When he is known to be good in the red zone. Venitari misses a 30 something yard field goal. Luck throws 3 INT and fumbles the ball.

I also don't think the chemistry is there yet with the new players in Indy either.

From the sound of things, Chuck has been petitioning for a better o-line for years and is just getting fucked.

http://i58.tinypic.com/fo3l95.jpg Patriot fans are getting a little over board

This is the second week my fantasy running back has fumbled on the one..

The eagles also might be the worst nfl team this year, so yeah fuck football.

If you draft a Colts or Eagles RB, you're going to have a bad time.
Patriots Green Bay SB. Broncos offense isn't looking too well. Our passing game on defense isn't doing wonders either
Dolphins, lul.
