Lebron goes 3 for 11 at the line. That will literally never happen again. Come on man. We had this.
Fuck James Harden and his whole squad.
Is anybody watching Golden State get ravaged by the Celtics right now? What is happening to the NBA tonight? This shit is like the beginning of Space Jam, when Ewing, Barkley and Mugsy Bogues lose their mojo.
Yeah, I ended up doing that. Just finished it. Damn, that was excellent. Really can't wait to see his return. I know he's coming back in Mamba mode. Loved his line about wanting to be able to sit at the same lunch table as his muses. The film really came full circle.
Never knew that stuff about the miscarriage. That was fucking deep. :')

yeah, pretty damn unfortunate for the cavs that lebron was so off at the line. but hero ball isn't his ideal playstyle, he was going 10-20 fg around the time when he started hero balling and went 5-15 then. sucks Kyrie was out or else we would be having a different discussion, but it was probably the most intense game i've seen all season, it felt like pure playoff basketball
Kyrie would have made it an easy win tbh. That or Lebron making his free throws. Or Shumpert hitting one fucking shot. smh. Harden is just annoying man. Everything that bearded bitch puts in the air goes in when he plays at home. I view him as the devil of the NBA. Dwight Howard the bum is a fitting team mate. They'd get violated if it came to a 7 game series. Delevadova plays like 42 minutes and scores three points (1 for 7 from the field). JR Smith shoots 3 for 21. Shumpert goes 0 for 7. I don't give complete credit to the Rockets defense. The Cavs role players just performed atrociously for the most part. Lebron had the only blocks on the team. It was just a fluke game to me, and probably cemented Harden as MVP.
Fucking toad. -___-
it shouldn't cement Harden considering he's like 1-5 when actually playing another MVP candidate.
it shouldn't, but it probably will. i still think he's the MVP. imagine that team without him, their best player is fucking dontas montenjunas or however you spell his last name (assuming dwight is always hurt)
Trevor Ariza, Josh Smith and Brewer (who's been playing like Michael Jordan recently) are better than the dude you just mentioned. It will cement him because the whole world has a hard on for Harden this year. It's MVP of the league, not who carries their team the most. People have basically forgotten that he has no defense. A pure scorer is all he will ever be. He gets too much credit for being bitch-made and relying on drawing contact. Drives inside, slams his body into anyone close enough and gets gifted trips to the line. 3 out of Lebron's 37 points against him were free throws. Compared to Harden who had 15 points from the line out of his 30 for the game.
He's a little slut.

"Pure scorer" who is also averaging 7 assists a game...

Fair enough. You got me there.
He's still a slut who isn't MVP worthy. Alas, he's close. I'd give it to Curry before him, but it's subjective. Depends on what you value in a player. I think he plays cheap and milks the officials.
r u kidding meMVP means MOST VALUABLE PLAYER, so yes, that technically means it is the player that carries the team the farthest. also, his defense has been good this year, they are a top 10 defense without dwight for a reason
I didn't stutter, and your caps lock isn't educational. People have received league MVP with losing records (Kareem). Anthony Davis could do the same some day. Like I said, it's all subjective. You can help lead a team to a great W-L record and not fill certain stat columns, and/or narrowly win plenty of those games. To his credit, the Rockets could have a negative record and he'd still be in the conversation, but I don't consider the Rockets a bad team without him. You're giving his defense too much credit for improving marginally from terrible to average. That may have been enough if not for there being several other candidates. Dwight Howard is a care bear. They're better off without him IMO.
You gonna QQ about my opinion? He's a batty boy.
is there even a clear cut definition of what the MVP award actually is? is it MVP to the league? MVP to their team on a winning team?
when i try to think of who should be MVP i think "where would this team be if they replaced him with an extremely average player at that position"
i see the rockets out of the playoffs with no harden and an average 2 guard (like an aaron affalo for example)
