i started my big boy job and absolutely love it. Nobody there gives a fuck. Getting paid to drive around and meet with people all day so I'm never in an office even though I've got a sick dual desk and dual monitor set up. Been commuting thirty minutes both ways and have listened to so many albums.
@Griff where you working bud? In NY you'll be able to find shortcuts as time goes on as long as you're not commuting on a major highway.

Yeah, I got my dad and colleagues to give a few tips for the big city life, hopefully i'll be living out here or in hoboken in a year or so.I (am/was) a finance accoutning intern at Pfizer, for one more day or so. I'm based in the suburbs but I wanted to see the nyc office before I finished. Sad to go.

@cynic good to hear! Glad to see everyone's getting good jobs and seem to be overall happy. It's amazing seeing how much different life is when you're not spending all your time drinking and hanging out with friends. It was a blurry and unforgettable few years but I'm glad college is done with.
i miss my girlfriend terribly. I live with her and I'm gone from 7-530 and she goes in to work at 5 everynight and doesn't get off until midnight or later.

I'm flipping out on the inside. When did everyone see their first porn/porn images to the point that they were also seeking it out?
Long story short, Connor was being sneaky in his room and locking his door the last few days. I thought hey, probably just fooling around and no biggie. It wasn't until he got this weird tone that I demanded to get into his room or something, he hid his ipad. I had to wrestle the fucking ipad away from him as he was yelling at me to stop so he could change the screen first, I saw something not kid related video but I just decided to hit back buttons to see what he was looking at before. Search terms: "naked girls", "naked kids", "boys penis in girls butt", "white tiger kissing spiderman", "naked black cat", etc.
He ran off immediately into another room. I followed him and tried to keep my cool. I asked him who typed it in, where he saw it, and tried to get him to describe to me what he saw but he wouldn't-- he said it was nasty. I want to cry because he JUST TURNED SIX. I remember seeing porn images by accident around 8yo and still remember that "UGH/gross" feeling and I never thought to think to search for it until well into my teen years. This is my baby boy and I feel so sad for him. I didn't even know what to say.... all I could tell him was that if i see him looking up these video again that the ipad will be completely gone and that these images/videos were not okay for his age and that he's too young. I'm cracking down stricter on restrictions on his electronics now too but I'm still not sure if I've done the right thing/what else to do.
I was reading an article the other day about boys seeing porn (on average or as young) as 6 and 7 years old and that this generation of kids is having problems with porn addictions. I thought how stupid and it actually happened to my kid.

How old are you? I'm wondering if it's because you're on the younger side. For me and my age group we didn't really have internet access and all it's glory until about 12-14. This is just the start of my worries about technology with my kid now. I don't want him to feel negative and shameful but this isn't okay by many many years to me. His youtube has restrictions but he's going to get to a sneaky age to get around this shit and they're so advanced compard to us that it's going to be even sooner.
I'm really not ready for these parenting challenges. I don't think he even knows how babies are made/where they even come from!
