The Official Poker/Gambling Thread

Coinbase is the way to go.
I'm trying that now. Gotta wait for them to put two small deposits in my account them confirm it. Could take up to 3 days.

Yea the lag is real but I guess I'm "used" to it. Maybe as much in the sense that I don't expect anything more than lag, idk

Playable still, I can 4 table okay

This flop was pretty real

I don't think these bitcoins will allow my bank. Do you think I could open up an online bank account that's not super restricting like the one I have and just use it for poker only?
Well that was a nice like $450 pissed away at the casino in stl. I'll stick with the casino I regularly go to, I know how they play. But you gotta love raising preflop and not hitting anything with 5 people to a flop or having people calling $35 on fucking gutters. I swear those people never go broke somehow throughout the night. Or you get people that limp $3, call $108 with AJ to my all in. Not a bad call necessarily, but would think they would raise that.. but being down $250 out of like 5 times going to the casino isn't bad in my opinion. What do you guys think
Nah, you're effectively even. doesn't much affect your long run stats and 5 sessions isn't a crazy indicator. No need to worry
I've been cashing a decent amount of the MTTs I've been playing. Haven't made another final table yet, but made final 2 tables a couple days ago. Deciding to play a few MTTs today, will post if anything worth talking about happens lol

What a perfect spot for me with 44 holy. My slow play paid off BIG time

Well my Circle app let me deposit money in there for bitcoins but when I go to Bovada and try and deposit bitcoins it won't let me. I hit "open bitcoin wallet" and it brings up a blank white page. I don't know what to do. I cant scan the bar code thing because it's half way off my app page. It's like I need to scroll over to the right but there's not a way to scroll over the page. I can maximize Bovada to fix the problem so I have no idea what I'm going to do

If this isn't the miracle turn, I don't know what is

Played the $10 buy in $1k guaranteed 6-handed tourney. 140 entrants

Mannnnnnn...still chill tho. Also medium cashed in the $3 buy in $1k guaranteed

I never got bovada to open up my bitcoin wallet so looks like I'm not playing online like ever. Also taking a break from live casino play.. ran out of money. Hopefully I'll get a lot of work this summer and save some money up
It's odd that you're having so much trouble with depositing tbh. Good luck with the saving though
Bovada wasn't wanting to open up the bitcoin wallet so I could deposit my money. Kept coming up a blank page

Played in the $10 buy in $1k guaranteed 6-max again. That 600k would've been mine but he rivered a 3outer on me...

Deep cashed another MTT today and min cashed 2 others.

Online poker can get so stupid sometimes. I can play a lifetime live at a casino and maybe have that happen once. Online it happens every day
The volume of hands you see live is nothing compared to the amount of hands you see online. You're basically saying online poker is rigged. If you actually believe this to be true then just stop playing online altogether.
Actually I haven't played a lot of hands online and still have seen a lot of BS compared to live casino play so yeah I'm saying online is rigged.
My Jetta was apart of that big emissions bs recall so VW sent me a $500 prepaid visa. You think bovada would accept that? I'm gonna try it... edit: gotta get it activated at the dealership so it's going to be awhile. Closest one is almost an hour away and I have no time this week to go
Who sends a non activated card as a gift/rebate? What, is it so they can try to up sell you when you walk in rofl
Maybe so I "have" to get it serviced for the recall or something. It's not a big deal. Bought a prepaid debit card at the gas station and tried to use it on borvada, didn't work. It did say it may take 24 hrs to have the money on there though so I'll try it tomorrow. Borvada gave me locations on places to get ones that work.. but I went to one and they were the exact same ones that the other gas station had. I may have to just use my banks debit card and have my bank call me and tell them to take off the restrictions. Something DOES NOT want me to play online poker
What banks do you guys use? I heard about western union working and I have a few of those in my town. If I have to open a bank account in another city to play I will

I use Bank of America. Used to have Regions bank like 8 years ago though. You tried the e-check options and all that other bs?

What do you mean? I'm up for any and all options. Bitcoin didn't work, the bovada app was being weird or I'm just too stupid to use it. Can I even open a bank account online and not in person? If this netspend card from Western Union or me opening an account there and using their debit card doesn't work, I'm just going to tell my bank to take my restrictions off. I should've done that weeks ago but I'm not a good liar/don't like confrontation like that. And that visa I got from Volkswagen didn't work. Wish the fuckers would accept paypal

o nvm thought they had echeck

yo is this the dream spot or?

Ayyyy check this run out

rip 6th place :(
Fucking online, anything can happen. I've been following too many people on instagram who post their chip stacks from live casino.. making me want to play but I have no money to play

Gonna start going to this place and playing live tourneys again I think. They have a good enough schedule:

http://www.derbylanepoker.com/downloads/derby-lane-may-tournament-calend...

Don't you live in Florida? The closest casino I have is 1.5 hrs away. If I lived closer I'd play their sunday tourneys they have.
Yea I do. Place I linked above (dog track) is like around 20min away, maybe a little less. There's another place (horse track) about 25 minutes away, and then the Hard Rock about 35-40 minutes away

And I got the beach 30 minutes away

Fuck I live in a legit place

I was just 30 min NE of Orlando last week for vacation. Isn't Florida pretty big on poker? All we have is like one casino in central illinois then chicago land.
I think Florida has a decent scene, but I'm also pulling that out of my ass. I'm pretty sure the Hard Rock here is like the 6th largest casino in the whole world though. They have like a million tables in their room
