I've really liked what I've played so far. I was kind of sure GoW3 would blow by me yet again as in the past with regards to multiplayer, but I was happily surprised. After all this time, I feel like it's accessible enough for me to jump in, with no prior experience.

Running games with Kenpachi helped, and I understand the flow of the game now, and I'm digging it! I'm officially excited for September.

Well it would still have the ability to hit people left of the character. maybe half the spread is too much, but the advantage over the gnasher is that it can hit to the left of the character a bit. also a faster firerate so it wouldn't have to pump after the shot.

the gnasher is a much better shotgun, it's the playstyle of people holding the sawed off that's annoying. (waiting around corners etc. even when you can do the same with the gnasher)

When did they add the Hammer of Dawn to the maps? Haven't played since like middle of last week

I played a couple rounds on Trenches yesterday, they replaced the mortar & Oneshot with the Hammer of Dawn.

3feeds, 3feeds everywhere

1st and 3rd rounds on trenches it replaces BOTH the one shot and mortar; 2nd round it replaces the mortar. they added it just a few days ago.

Omg. It's like a fucking duel of who can hold the trigger down faster on Trenches. When I play Trenchs(KOTH), me and my friend rush One Shot spawn to give cover fire for the hill that spawns at Mortar.

Anyways, when HoD spawns, it's basically who can hold the trigger down the fastest. Also, there were a lot of times I'd roll out of the shot of blast of the HoD, but the blast radius just incinerated me.

It got annoying really. Not a huge major complaint. Only put one on the map though.

I thoroughly enjoyed the beta. I've owned both Gow1 and 2 and loved the campaign, but never really got into the multiplayer. GoW3 had enjoyable multiplayer.

Aside from that old Halo cliche of killing each other at the same time.

Yeah, that is REALLY annoying to trade gnasher/SO kills.

Not from the Gnasher perspective you could say. The saw-ed off's proposed strat is to sit behind corners and unload on someone -- if they miss, they deserve to get embarrassed I think. :3
