Default The Letter | My first short narrative film

This film was a project for a beginning film-making class that I took this semester where we had to write, direct, film, and edit our own 2-5 minute short film over the course of two weeks. Although I have been a casually self-taught editor for around two years, this was my first time juggling all the other responsibilities involved in the film-making process.

It was shot in one night and post production lasted about two weeks. I'm really happy how it turned out. It is extremely satisfying coming up with an idea for a story and then turning it into a visual experience that you can share with others. It was a blast to make, and I look forward to creating more in the future.

Everything was shot with a Canon Rebel t2i, a Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX lens, and a Monfrotto tripod/fluidhead.

Huge shout out to Crest for doing the voice narration he spoke the lines extremely well.

Whatever, it was actually done very professionally. story was decent, your shots were very nice, your gradings were also very fitting.
Considering how short a period of time you've been doing real-life videos this is very impressive Hans.
Couple of little things I'd pick at, only 2 that annoyed me, aim me if you care enough (I know you're picky )

Yeah, for $12 a year I get to tell people "Just go to ____.com" rather than having people dig through forums. If you put a lot of time into something and want to share it, shelling out $12 a year and taking an hour to make the site is a no-brainer IMO.

Frag, that was truly something awesome.

I loved the whole story behind it and just how at the end it gets you off guard.

The cuts, shots, quality and grading were perfect for each scene.

I enjoyed just about everything in that and it truly deserves its own site

Seriously, you've got such a director-ish name.

That was actually awesome, the cuts/camera shots were really professional, there were a few strange moments audiowise unless it was intentional. The whole idea behind it was great, "sincerely Claire" gave me goosebumps.
